Description

Photographed in 1908, the image was created using a high-resolution scan from an original Curtis photogravure. Prior to scanning, the vintage photogravure was professionally conserved to restore the print to its original appearance.  After conservation the images are prepared and optimized for printing with pigment-based inks and 100% cotton paper to ensure archival stability and quality that aligns with Curtis’ original intent.
